This Privacy Policy explains how the ShelfFlow mobile application ("ShelfFlow", "the app", "we", "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you use it. ShelfFlow is a workplace tool for grocery and retail store employees to manage tasks, shifts, product expiration dates, and related day-to-day work.
We collect only the information needed to provide the app's features:
ShelfFlow does not collect your precise location, contacts, camera, or microphone data.
ShelfFlow uses Google Firebase Authentication to sign you in with your email address and password, and to send password reset emails when you request them. Your account information is stored securely using Google Firebase services (Firebase Authentication and Cloud Firestore). Google processes this data on our behalf as a service provider. You can review Google's practices in the Firebase Privacy and Security documentation.
Account credentials are handled by Firebase Authentication, and your profile and work data are stored in Cloud Firestore. Access is restricted so that each user can only read and write their own data, with limited additional access granted to managers for legitimate workplace management purposes.
We do not sell your personal data. We do not rent or trade your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own advertising or marketing. Information is shared only with the service providers (such as Google Firebase) that are necessary to operate the app, or where required by law.
We retain your account and work information for as long as your account remains active. If you would like your account and associated data deleted, please contact us using the details below and we will remove it, except where we are required to keep certain information by law.
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information at any time by contacting us. You can also update much of your profile information directly within the app.
ShelfFlow is a workplace tool intended for employees and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
